Via demo terms

Via is a testing prototype. Requests, approvals, vehicles and payments are demonstrations; no vehicle is booked and no money is charged. Do not use Via for real transport or emergencies.

Google Maps features are also subject to Google Maps Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy.

Via staff set the base fare, price per mile, minimum fare, busy increase, commission and monthly driver fee. The upfront quote shows the fare and any active busy increase. Existing quotes retain their agreed rates. Quotes expire after five minutes; Stripe sandbox checkout started within that window holds the fare for 30 minutes. Monthly test subscriptions require the driver to accept the displayed fee separately. Driving routes use OSRM / OpenStreetMap. Journey times exclude live traffic. Public address and route services may be unavailable or limited during demo testing.
